Browsing data
Like any website, the server automatically logs some technical information on each visit: IP address, browser and operating system, date and time, page requested. This keeps the site running and protects it from abuse; it is never used to identify anyone and never combined with anything else.
Lawful basis: legitimate interest in delivering the service securely (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention: as long as the hosting provider technically requires, normally a few days.
If you write to me
There is no contact form on this site, only my email address. If you choose to write, I process your address and the content of your message in order to reply and, should work come of it, to carry it out.
Lawful basis: responding to your request and taking pre-contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Retention: for as long as the correspondence requires, then for the periods set by tax obligations if it becomes a commission.
Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no cookies — none for profiling, none for analytics, none from third parties. There is no banner because there is nothing to accept.
Two things are saved in your browser’s storage, and only if you ask for them with a click:
- dark mode, if you press the button that switches it on, so you find it again next time;
- a temporary marker used by the transition between pages, discarded when you close the tab.
Both are technical preferences: they stay on your device, they never reach me, and they cannot recognise you. That is why no consent is required (Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code). You can clear them at any time by deleting this site’s data in your browser.
Third-party services
None. The site loads no fonts, maps, embedded video, social buttons or analytics scripts from external servers: everything you see is served by the domain you are visiting. Links to clients’ and projects’ websites are ordinary links — they do nothing unless you click them, and from that point the destination site’s privacy policy applies.
Who else sees the data
The site is hosted by La Pivot, appointed as data processor under Article 28 GDPR, who in turn rely on Hetzner Online GmbH: the servers are in Nuremberg, Germany, and therefore within the European Union.
If you write to me, my mailbox is run by Google Ireland Ltd., which for certain operations may transfer data to the United States under the Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You may ask me at any time to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict how it is processed, or object. Write to effeemmezeta@gmail.com and I will reply within thirty days. If something still doesn’t sit right, you can complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

If anything changes — if I ever add analytics, for instance — I will update this page and the date below.
